CANCELLATIONS:
Notice to cancel must be received in writing. Cancellation penalties will apply as per terms listed:
Tours
• Cancellations received up to 45 days prior to departure- Full loss of deposit.
• Cancellations received between 45 and 21 days prior to departure – 50% of total cost.
• Cancellations received less than 21 days prior to departure – 100% of total cost.
Villas and Self Catered accommodations
• Cancellations received up to 45 days prior to departure- Full loss of deposit.
• Cancellations between 44 and 31 days prior to departure-50% of total cost
• Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to departure, or for no shows – 100% of total cost.
Hotel
• Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to departure -$75.00 per person or 10% of total cost whichever is greater.
• Cancellations received between 22-19 days - 50% of total cost.
• Cancellations received less than 18 days prior to departure, or for no shows – 100% of total cost.
Car Rental
• Cancellations received more than 3 days prior to departure – $50 per car or 10% of total cost whichever is greater.
• Cancellations received less than 3 days prior to departure, or no shows - $50 plus one day’s rental cost.
Air
• Cancellations and or revision fees will be advised at the time of reservation and are subjected to the rules and regulations as deemed by individual airline policy.
Rail Passes
• Cancellation charges apply only to issued passes – 15% of total cost plus administration fee.
CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION must be sent in writing and include the return of all documentation.
COMPLAINTS, PROBLEMS AND ISSUES: If a problem were to arise with the services booked, confirmed and pre-paid, you must bring this forth to our local representative at destination immediately, so that we may resolve the situation through our local representative at destination. The emergency contact is listed on your voucher for any issues that may arise during your journey.
CLIENT’S RETURN HOME: At no time will we accept responsibility for any issues arising during your holiday period, that we nor our local representatives have been notified of or advised of such issues at time of occurrence.
TOUR PRICES: All prices are per person and based upon double occupancy. Single and triple accommodations may be available with a price adjustment. Price is subject to change without notice as a result of adverse economic changes or currency fluctuations that may affect air/land transportation, hotels, or other related service providers.
TRANSFERS: Where transfers are included, there is one scheduled group transfer for arrival and departure at a designated time and place. It is the responsibility of the tour participant to be at the transfer point at the designated time. Private transfers can be arranged for an additional fee.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: It is the passenger's responsibility to obtain, all documentation required by all relevant government authorities including passports, visas, and inoculations. Special documentation (such as a notarized letter) may be required for minors traveling alone or for children who carry a different surname than their traveling companions and for single parents traveling with children. Canadian Citizens and Residents of Canada of other nationalities such as landed immigrants are responsible for being in possession of their required travel documents, a valid passport. A visa may also be required; ENTRY/ EXIT visas and LOCAL HEALTH requirements (inoculations).
SELF-CATERED RENTALS: Additional costs may apply such as heating, electricity, final cleaning
RESPONSIBILITY: Vacanza Destinations and its representatives act only in the capacity of an agent of all air/land transportation, sightseeing, tour operators and hotels, which provide services, included in the specified tour. The individual tour participant agrees that Vacanza Destinations and its representatives shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to any act of default of hotel, air/land transportation carrier, restaurant supplier or other contractor rendering or providing services. Vacanza Destinations and its representatives shall not be responsible for any expense or liability resulting from labor disputes, war, acts of terrorism, government restraints, weather conditions, sickness, pilferage or any other cause beyond their control. Vacanza Destinations and its representatives reserve the right to accept, or to retain or refuse any person as a participant of any tour or to cancel any program of a tour if circumstances so demand. Vacanza Destinations and its representatives reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason (including insufficient number of participants) or to change itineraries and/or substitute services or hotels of equal quality without prior notification. Vacanza Destinations and Tour Operator does not accept responsibility for improper Travel Documents (passport, visas, etc., see above paragraph with reference to TRAVEL DOCUMENTS.
IMPORTANT: Times and flights schedules or dates are subject to change as per terms & conditions of the tour operator/airline. It is the passenger’s responsibility to reconfirm these times.
ACCEPTANCE: Through your payment for requested travel services, you the client acknowledges and accepts our terms and conditions as stipulated in this notice.
